This casual, dutch-treat lunch at Elsie‘s alternates weeks with Men’s Coffee and Conversation. No reservations required. There’s no program, but good conversation happens here! If you would like to be added to the Thursday Dutch Lunch list or suggest a topic for discussion, email email@example.com. For the month of October, Dutch Lunch will be held outdoors on Elsie‘s patio, as long as it‘s at least 50 degrees or higher. In case of inclement weather, it will be held via Zoom, using the link provided.
“Most people are not good at learning,” says St. Paul resident and author Peter Brown. Join us as we hear from him about his book, “Make it Stick, The Science of Successful Learning.” In his book, he and his three co-authors provide strategies for making it easier to learn by using cognitive science principles and examples. His methods are now being used by the University of Minnesota Medical School, Harvard Business School and others. This program is a must for continuous learners!
