“Law and policy is where we start to address violence against women as a human rights violation.” Cheryl Thomas is the Director for Global Rights for Women, an organization dedicated to working to end violence against women across the globe. She has spent her career promoting women’s human rights and achieving legal reform on violence against women. The winner of the prestigious Arabella Babb Mansfield award, Cheryl Thomas will be discussing her work and talking about what we can do to advocate for women’s human rights.

MCC is hosting programs for fully vaccinated members in accordance with the MN Department of Health guidelines.  Please plan to wear a mask at indoor programs and refrain from attending a program if you are not feeling well.
