About this event
How is the right to bear arms and gun control interpreted by the Supreme Court? Join us as we hear from MCC member Bob Berkwitz, who has taught courses on the Supreme Court and the Constitution for the OLLI Program. Bob will talk about the history of Supreme Court cases on the "right to bear arms" under the Second Amendment, including the most recent cases. He will also discuss the case pending for next year's term on the Supreme Court and the use of originalism and textualism by both liberals and conservatives on the Court in deciding cases.
Interested in carpooling? Click on the registrant list and find a member in your building or near you that you can connect with and ask to share a ride. Or, feel free to contact the MCC office for a suggestion.
