About this event

We are anxious about juvenile crime in Minneapolis AND we care about kids, right?  Join Minneapolis Police Department's Lt. Kelly O’Rourke, head of Juvenile Division of Special Crimes Investigations Division, and Sandra Feist, District 41B, and their collaboration to find solutions. O’Rourke will tell what’s changed with these kids over his 25 years of working with youth gangs. What issues contribute to their crimes?  How do MPD and the judicial system work together? What does and doesn’t work? Rep. Feist and Lt. O'Rourke will describe the Minnesota Office of Restorative Justice that they helped set in motion, is funded, and near to be implemented, including in Hennepin County. Learn how WE can support these positive changes and give THEM feedback that will strengthen their efforts.
