About this event

Join us for a dynamic panel discussion on how the 2024 election results will shape Minnesota. Our panel of experts will break down the key impacts of the national and state election results on Minnesota’s policies, party dynamics, and legislative future. The panel will feature:

  • Katherine Pearson, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Minnesota, an expert in electoral strategy and policy.
  • Blois Olson, Political Editor and Host at WCCO Radio, providing expert analysis on local and national political trends.
  • Mary Lahammer, Political Reporter for Twin Cities PBS (TPT), known for her deep knowledge of Minnesota’s political scene.
  • Moderated by Tane Danger, co-creator of The Theater of Public Policy, who brings humor and accessibility to political discourse.

This discussion will cover voter turnout, shifting political alliances, and how Minnesota’s election results compare to national trends. You’ll also hear about how key issues like abortion, immigration, and the environment may shift in the coming years. The panel will conclude with a Q&A session, giving you the chance to engage directly with these experts.
