About this event

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly shaping our everyday lives. It’s behind the scenes in many of our daily interactions, from managing our online banking and suggesting products when shopping, to answering our health-related queries online. But AI isn’t just functional—it’s also becoming part of our creative endeavors, influencing the information we receive, the options available to us, and even offering support to enhance our quality of life as we age.

Yet, with all these benefits come questions: What exactly is AI? How does it work? And, importantly, how can we navigate AI safely and confidently to reap its benefits while avoiding pitfalls like misinformation and scams?

Join Woody Taylor—a Twin Cities-based management consultant, data scientist, and educator with extensive experience in guiding seniors, businesses, and communities through practical applications of generative AI. Woody will clearly and simply explain what AI is, illustrate its potential benefits and risks, and show you how to effectively manage this powerful tool. No prior technical expertise is required—just a curious mind and willingness to learn.

Woody comes highly recommended by several MCC members who have attended his previous presentations and found them both enlightening and enjoyable.
