About this event

Jon Olson, retired Commander of the US Navy and current Political Science Carleton College professor, will provide an overview on the US Intelligence Community—how it is organized, how the community functions, and changes we’re seeing so far in the new administration. Q&A is strongly encouraged as Jon wishes to answer your questions about how intelligence functions to protect American national security interests. You’ll come away from this talk with a much better understanding of the 18-member US Intelligence Community, budgetary and legal authorities and restrictions, and how intelligence professionals work every day to protect our nation.
