About this event
Join other MCC pedalers for a ride along the Mississippi River! We'll gather by the bike path on West River Parkway under the Hennepin Avenue Bridge at 9:30 and then head north. The Coon Rapids Dam is about 15 miles away, making it 30 miles round-trip. Some might decide to add a five-mile loop by biking across the dam and following a short path through some lovely woods.
We'll have some light snacks near the dam where water and facilities are available. Since Pryes Brewery is at the end of the ride, we can also stop there for optional lunch.

NOTE: Riders from outside of downtown might want to transport their bikes to the MCC office's parking lot by the Red Cross building and then ride ~1 mile along West River Parkway to meet the rest of us under the Hennepin Ave. bridge.
