About this event

Please join us for an open and reflective conversation with Chanda Smith Baker, a nationally recognized Black leader whose voice has inspired bold, creative leadership—both personal and institutional—for decades.

For those of us committed to strengthening society’s capacity to enhance the well-being of all citizens, Chanda’s perspective is both timely and essential.

In late August, she will step into her new role as President and CEO of the St. Paul & Minnesota Foundation. During our time together, Chanda will share insights on the state of philanthropy, the importance of bridging communities, and the unique opportunity this moment holds for meaningful change.

Grounded in real-world experience and guided by a forward-looking vision, Chanda invites us into a conversation about where we are, what’s possible, and how we can move forward—together—toward deeper connection and lasting impact.
