Music is good for us. Research shows that listening to music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain. It can also improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory. In this workshop our facilitator, Don Frederiksen, will help you identify the benefits of music-listening to your life by exploring the popular music services, their catalogs, and their costs. We’ll compare Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Pandora and YouTube! Additionally, the workshop will explore ways to find music online for FREE! We will also explore the various ways that you can bring music to your life including using smartphones, smart speakers, Bluetooth devices and playing music in your car. Don is the founder and principal of SeniorTechClub.com, the online club that helps older adults stay connected and engaged by learning, sharing, and exploring technology.
This is a two-part program: Part 1 teaches you about the different streaming services. In Part 2 Don helps you download and put that technology into use. Sign up for one or both of these sessions.
We are offering this program as a hybrid program. Please answer the question on whether you will be in person or on Zoom when you register.
