Much has been written and studied about achievement gaps in Minnesota schools, and much of what we hear about is in high schools. What CEO Carolyn Smallwood and her team at Way to Grow know is that solving that issue starts many years before a student reaches high school, and in fact needs to start even before a child enters kindergarten. Way to Grow does just that. Ms. Smallwood will explain the proven statistics that affirm the investments made in early childhood learning as well as the model that her team uses – with proven results – to ensure children achieve educational “success by eight” years of age.

After the presentation, we'll have an informal reception in the meeting room. Please plan to stay for a glass of wine/water/lemonade and a nibble or two. It will be a great chance to talk, which we know attendees like to do after our stimulating programs!
