Power House trainer Robyn Bruggeman and longtime member and CrossFit athlete, Julie Causey, will talk to our women members about strength, conditioning, and nutrition practices that contribute to the unique and ever-changing needs of aging women. As women age, we lose muscle mass and bone density and it becomes more difficult to keep fat from accumulating around our middle.  These changes lead to a decline in strength and stability (which increases our risk of falling) and an increase in health risks. Robyn and Julie will address these changes, the mechanisms that cause them, and nutrition and exercise strategies that work to “move our dial."
