Eric Schwartz, University of Minnesota Professor of Public Affairs, will talk with us about border migration policies in the context of the political debates in the United States around irregular extralegal migration. The debates are taking place amidst a presidential campaign in which border migration is a key issue. This program will be recorded.

About the speaker:  Professor Schwartz is the chair of the Humphrey School's Global Policy area. He has served as president of Refugees International in Washington DC, and was the Dean of the Humphrey School. He also served as Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration.
