As the weather outside turns "frightful", snuggle up in the cozy theater and immerse yourself in the soft glow of the silver screen! Afterward, you and fellow MCC members enjoy good food and lively conversation at a Dutch-treat dinner!
We will be seeing "Wicked." This musical is told from the perspective of two witches, Elphaba and Glinda, before and after Dorothy's arrival in Oz. The story explores the complex friendship between Elphaba (who becomes the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda (who becomes Glinda, the Good Witch). After an encounter with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads.
The movie begins at 3:30 pm and the play time for this musical is 2 hours 40 minutes. The Rotten Tomatoes scores are 92 (critics) and 99 (audience). You can read more about the movie at Rotten Tomatoes Here.
We will meet at MSP Film @ the Main for the movie, followed by a Dutch treat dinner at Jefe Urban Cocina to discuss the movie. If you've already seen the movie, but would like to meet us at the restaurant at 6:10 pm, please let us know by answering the question that will pop up when you register.
